Clos de la Cure is a beautiful walled vineyard of just over 6 hectares located near the old church of St. Christophe-des-Bardes, perched on the heights of the St. Emilion plateau, and is owned by the Bouyer-Arteau family.
The vineyard shares the same soil structure as Chteau Cheval Blanc, gravel and clay with a proportion of iron-rich deposits, which gives an idea of its pedigree. This wine is aged for 18 months in oak.
Clos de la Cure, St Emilion Grand Cru (2010)
An excellent example of St Emilion at its very best.
This complex wine is opaque in colour and shows aromas of sweet blackcurrant leaf and a hint of cedar on the nose. Superb structure with solid, tight tannins and a long satisfying finish.
